Early Childhood Assistant Teacher
Reports to: Director of Early Childhood
Part-time, Non-Exempt | Mondays - Fridays, 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Position Summary
The assistant teacher is responsible for assisting the lead classroom teachers with classroom duties. Assistant teachers are vital team members and play an important role by allowing for small-group instruction and personalized education. Parent communication is the responsibility of the lead teachers; however, the assistant teacher collects, documents and provides information for the classroom teachers. Assistant teachers support the classroom's daily operations, help maintain a safe learning environment and serve as substitutes in various early childhood classrooms as needed.
