Responsibilities
Position Summary :
The Unit Coordinator II / Technician is a caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric.
Responsibility is for a designated time frame. The Unit Coordinator II / Tech will help provide safe therapeutic care for our patients under the guidance of the Registered Nurse Physicians Assistant Family Nurse Practitioner and Physician.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a Unit Coordinator II / Tech EMT experience or equivalent level of experience in an acute care facility
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications :
- Over 2 years experience as a Unit Coordinator II / Tech EMT experience or equivalent level of experience in an acute care facility
- 2 years of college and complete comptenecy training for the Unit Coordinator II / ED Tech position in the Emergency Dept
