St. David's Center is regional leader in child and family development, working to create a healthy, vibrant society in which every member fully contributes to its success. We offer therapeutic, educational, and support services, including mental health and pediatric therapies, autism treatment, home visiting, an inclusive preschool, and disability services. Over 6,000 children, parents, and individuals with enduring special needs are engaged at our two early intervention centers in Minneapolis and Minnetonka, more than 30 partner sites, and hundreds of homes across the community.

Our Community Relations and Development team is responsible for marketing, communication, public relations, advocacy, and fundraising for the organization. We hit enrollment targets, reach audiences with relevant information, position St. David's Center as a thought leader in child development and early intervention, advocate for changes in public policy and increased public funding to benefit children and families and raise $3 million annually.

Position Overview:

Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Generating new and increased giving from a portfolio of 150 prospective and active donors.
  • Leveraging moves management strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects to grow support across all levels of individual gifts.
  • Building, executing and managing individual giving campaigns based on affinity, relationships, important moments for families, and/or current news.
  • Executing a robust discovery program in partnership with key members of the Development team.
  • Ensuring prospect portfolio is routinely updated with regard to contact reports, moves management, and documentation of other key milestones in the donor's relationship with St. David's Center.

The Ideal Candidate: Working as an integral member of the Community Relations Team, the Individual Giving Manager, New Acquisition must possess skills in relationship-based fundraising, be adept at building rapport, and remain highly motivated by goals, results, and the power of connecting people to their passion. The successful candidate is optimistic and possesses a can-do attitude. They must also have the ability to: communicate effectively verbally and in writing; listen and build connections; build and execute plans in collaboration with others; use a database to capture progress and results; and analyze results to drive strategy and other decisions.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; some evening and weekend work expected.

Compensation (Pay/Benefits): The pay range for this position is dependent upon qualifications and ranges from $76,648 to $85,155. We offer generous PTO, agency vacation days, paid holidays, professional development funds, a childcare discount, and eligibility for loan forgiveness!

Job Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in communications, marketing, or related field. Experience: At least three years of individual gift fundraising experience, with a proven track record meeting or exceeding fundraising goals. Raiser's Edge experience preferred.
