St. Clair Hospital is Hiring an Employee Assistance Program Advanced Practice Provider - #2014 Near Pittsburgh, PA

Summary

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Advanced Practice Provider facilitates the organization’s employee assistance program (EAP), providing short-term counseling and/or referrals to professionals and services to assist employees with personal and work related concerns. The EAP Advanced Practice Provider acts as a resource, educator and consultant for employees, managers, and others and provide crisis intervention and support to employees in response to traumatic events and critical incidents.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Must meet one of the following:
    1. Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, and licensure as a Registered Nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
    2. Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA program, and current PA license as a Physician Assistant, and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  2. Two years of psychotherapy counseling experience.
  3. Certification as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), or attainment of CEAP within two years of hire.
  4. Skilled in communicating information clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  5. Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  6. Ability to manage stressful situations and multiple competing priorities.
  7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  8. Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License or the ability to travel to St. Clair facilities in a timely manner, including locations that may not be accessible by public transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Prior experience supporting an Employee Assistance Program.
  2. Previous experience leading critical incident stress debriefing (CISD) interventions.
