Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office setting and possess strong administrative and organizational skills.
Responsibilities Including but not limited to :
- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and clients with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect patient co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information in electronic systems
- Coordinate with Dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling
- Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office preferred
- Familiarity with Dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
