Position Summary:

As a Food Service Representative at St. Ann's Home, you'll play a crucial role in facilitating an exceptional dining experience for our residents. You'll ensure that meals are served promptly, accurately, and with a friendly demeanor. Additionally, you'll maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and assist with food preparation tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet residents, present menus, and provide assistance with meal selections.
• Take orders, serve meals, and attend to residents' needs during mealtimes.
• Prepare and garnish food items such as soups, salads, and entrees.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to fulfill residents' food requests.
• Assist residents with special dietary requirements or preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including table setting and clearing.
• Document relevant information in required log books.
• Perform additional duties such as dishwashing and special cleaning tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending or reaching tasks as necessary.
