GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Executive Director of Programming works closely with elected and appointed lay leadership of the church, clergy, and other staff members in support of the church’s vision, mission, values, and strategic plan. The EDP serves on the Executive Team and provides clarity in roles, communication, clear processes, and united efforts to ensure the strategic goals of the church are being met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Staff Supervision: Is responsible for the supervision and direction of all Director and Manager level staff, including annual reviews, in support of the church’s mission and vision.
• Mission/Vision/Strategy: Oversee and resource the short and long-range strategic planning.
• Stewardship/Development: Administrate and supervise all stewardship (operating and capital) campaigns.
• Strategic Planning: Will offer strategic guidance and oversee development of new ministries ensuring alignment with mission and vision and staffing needs and capacity.
• Production/Content Delivery: Work closely with the Executive Team to coordinate content creation and implementation across all platforms to expand impact of St. Andrew.
• Satellite Communities: Provide leadership support and consultation to new and existing satellite communities integrating St. Andrew’s programmatic depth in new and innovative ways.
• Governing Board/SPRC: Work directly with the Governing Board and Staff Parish Relations Committee to support and implement any action items.
• Communications: Supervise the Director of Communications and oversee communication efforts to align communication with the church’s mission and vision.
• Lay Leadership Development: Equip, train, and resource church leaders to fulfill mission and ministry at St. Andrew.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 10 years demonstrated success in an executive leadership role
• 3-5 years in leadership in a large church or other ministry setting

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Advanced computer skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Light office work including kneeling, bending, standing, sitting for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

Flexibility to work after normal office hours and on weekends

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business, Management, Administration, or other related field, or equivalent experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced office environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
