Job Summary:
We are seeking a Parish Administrator to join our church's leadership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing office processes, and supporting church worship services and activities.
Duties:
- Maintain parish membership database and sacramental records
- Create worship bulletins
- Coordinate the parish calendar with building users and renters
- Perform general administrative tasks to support clergy and ministries
- Handle correspondence, filing, and compliance documentation
- Manage orders for supplies, products, and services
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Familiarity with church administration and the Episcopal Church
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and social media apps
-Familiarity with church management databases
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with calendar management and scheduling
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
