Looking for an opportunity to grow strategic relationships and make meaningful change? Look no further – we are currently seeking a Lead Epic Ambulatory Analyst to serve on our Growth Team! This enticing role would be perfect for someone who enjoys communicating across varying levels of leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills, partnering with various teams to create/improve processes for Epic Community Connect Partners as well as SSM Health Epic Implementations. This role allows for the lead to focus on the needs of our Epic application projects and help lead the team through multiple Epic projects. Background in Healthcare, Epic, Service Now, and project management is a plus. 

Our employees work remote but must be residents of Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina or Wisconsin

Job Summary:

Configures, implements, supports and maintains Epic applications and related technical integrations to meet the needs of the organization. Key consultant on the most complex Epic application and data integration issues. Serves as a lead for coordination and customer service between business operations, information technology, leadership, system users and vendors. Uses awareness of department and system initiatives in a meaningful manner.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the team to research business needs and translates into standard workflow and build requirements necessary for configuration and business process changes.
  • Oversees the team approach for Epic vendor software updates and the impact to the business for Epic applications in analyst's area of expertise.
  • Oversees the coding of Epic applications, including the build of application tables, panels and reports to insure quality delivery to business partners.
  • Guides the team in applying testing and regression testing methodologies and strategies to ensure quality delivery to business partners.
  • Leads the partnership with technology service center to ensure high first call response rate.
  • Leads the team in proactively identifying and solving unique problems with broad impact on the business and leads others to solve complex problems; uses conceptual and innovative thinking for developing solutions.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and / or complexity.
  • Provides routine maintenance of Epic applications and systems using existing procedures. Follows and stays current with internal processes, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education

EXPERIENCE

  • Five years’ experience, specifically with Epic functionality, design, configuration, and technical environment concepts/functions. Experience in Epic builds required.

CERTIFICATION

  • Epic certified in one or more modules

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
