Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and transportation management systems to ensure efficient coordination of shipments.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery
- Communicate with drivers to provide necessary information for successful deliveries
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and update customers on delivery status
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Use GPS systems to monitor driver locations and optimize routes
- Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during transportation processes

-Learn to utilize Load board

Requirements:

- Proficiency in using phone systems and maintaining phone etiquette
- Experience with logistics software such as SyteLine, AS400, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with drivers and customers
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks effectively

-Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
