Squiggle Room of Ann Arbor is hiring Full Time Assistant Preschool Teachers. This is an exciting opportunity for creative, nurturing professionals that want to work in a holistic, supportive environment facilitating educational activities for children using Reggio Emilia inspired techniques, emerging curriculum, and project work. We are particularly interested in talking to candidates that are innovative and forward thinking with a true love for Early Childhood Education. We are also interested in bilingual educators to teach foreign languages to our students.

Responsibilities Include:

• You must have a positive attitude that is supportive and collaborative with staff, management, parents and students.
• Supervise and ensure the physical and emotional health and safety of all children enrolled in your class.
• Request supplies for your classroom in a timely manner.
• Provide daily care updates to parents using our parent app and your classroom tablet.
• Ensure that your classroom meets all licensing requirements daily.
• Any other duties as deemed necessary and proper by center management.

Requirements Include:

• Must be at least 19 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Complete file as required by Licensing (background check, CPR, etc.)
• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a child care setting.

We are hiring immediately, pay is commensurate with your experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
