SQUAN CONSTRUCTION, LLC is Hiring an Accounting Assistant Near Conway, AR
SQUAN is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual for an accounting assistant position in our Conway, AR office to help facilitate the processing of multiple telecom engineering/construction projects.
This position requires a daily office presence in Conway, AR.
This person will work effectively with telecom engineering teams and thrive in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving. You should be willing to learn multiple platforms with the flexibility to embrace them all. Although this is considered entry-level, you will be given the opportunity to advance based on your capacity to grow.
Responsibilities
Process engineering projects for client approval.
Assist with the accounting of project-related requirements and costs as well as administrative tasks involved with design and engineering.
Communication with clients as well as government and private authorities to attain proper and timely permissions for the construction of projects.
Preparation of documentation required for project approval.
Research of project build requirements.
Update project status in the project management system (Salesforce DB) and client project tracking systems.
Requirements
At least 1 year of accounting experience
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including LOOKUPS and Pivot Tables
Must work 40 hours a week in our Conway, AR office, with the potential for overtime
Willing to work in a team setting, being open to sharing and receiving input
Comfortable with MS Office software
Quality and timely delivery of each assigned task
Exhibit effective communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to industry/client changes
Maintain a professional though casual appearance and a solid work ethic
