What to expect:

Compensation: $30 per hour plus all expenses paid

This is a 6-month contract Quality Composite Inspector full time position - 5 days per week. There is an opportunity of extension. You will be part of a global inspection team assuring the quality of components and assemblies that this global aerospace leader is sourcing from one or more suppliers in this area. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA’s operations center based on client needs and each supplier’s production schedule.

What you’ll do:

• You will be conducting composite/mechanical inspections at a Boeing supplier in Marion, Virgina.
• In-process and final source inspection of composite and mechanical parts.
• Read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards.

What you’ll need:

• 4 years of hands-on inspection experience with precision machined and composite parts
• Knowledge and hands-on experience working with various inspection tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, etc.)
• GD&T experience is required
• Due to the nature of the products, US Citizenship is also a requirement, and background checks are required.

Note: Mechanical inspectors at this level are capable of validating dimensions (total tolerances >/=.005” with Minimal GD&T validation) utilizing standard hand tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gages)
