Summary of Role: This is a mobile and diverse facilities position. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operation of a facility. They oversee special projects as assigned by the manager. It covers a wide range of duties such as organizing supplies from offices, organizing / cleaning out closets of supplies and equipment, cross training and supporting other facilities positions. This position reports to the Office Services Supervisor and is required to be on-site full time.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Organizing and cleaning out storage closets
· Help maintain site security ensuring doors are secured, proper staff and visitor access and sign in procedures are followed and other life safety compliances
· Maintain office cleaning and tidiness processes including daily and periodic office checks
· Back up the reception desk and support the maintenance team as needed
· Other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
· Preferred bachelor’s degree or high school diploma & minimum of 1 year of facilities, office, or mail center experience
· Enthusiastic, “can do” attitude with emphasis on quality customer service, hospitality, and satisfaction
· Exemplary conflict/problem solving skills
· Excellent organization and planning skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
· Able to work well and communicate effectively with all levels of internal staff, outside clients and vendors.
· Must be proficient in computer applications, with emphasis on MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Flexible and adaptable with on-call required, with overtime
Work Context:
· Ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders
· Requires some kneeling, bending, stretching, and stooping
· Moves object weighing 30lb
· Requires standing and walking at least 75% of the time
· Requires valid driver’s license
· Legally eligible to work in U.S.
