We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Asset Management Specialist to come grow with our team in Roanoke, TX ! This full-time position is ideal for someone with 1 years of relevant experience looking for a stable place to work, learn, and develop. Schedule: Typically Monday - Friday,8AM-5PM
Job responsibilities for Inventory Capture & Logistics Acct (Asset Management)
Perform ship & receiving including:
· Order acceptance and delivery.
· Visually inspect cartons for damage, and reconciliation of shipment with shipping documentation.
· Asset tag & update asset data repository.
· Provide secure warehousing of assets
· Perform asset pickup and delivery onsite.
· Maintain an accurate inventory of assets and associated hardware
· Provides oversight and audit function for assets received into database
· Submit monthly touch count reports
· Work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams.
· Follow company policies and procedures, including training.
· Wipe all data from the hard drives of desktop or laptop PC’s which are no longer in use and are planned for disposal.
· Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
· Travel to assigned locations to perform the duties as required.
· Work may require in excess of a regular, full-time work week including nights and weekends to perform the essential duties of the job (OT paid)
· Emphasis on extreme attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through.
Job requirements:
Possess technical aptitude both hardware and software.
Possess relevant IT skills in basic MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
Possess basic to advanced IT hardware skills especially in product identification.
Ability to quickly learn various inventory systems with probable remote training.
Very strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through skills
Able to work independently with some direction
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills for a challenging and customer focused working environment.
Professional demeanor
Able to perform basic math functions
Perform lifting up to 50 lbs. Standing and walking required.
Requirements for travel:
· Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
· May be required to travel to alternate site locations (within 45-50 miles)
