We are adding a Project Manager to the Marketing Communications team who will lead high-impact, cross functional projects, ensuring SPS Commerce’s project initiatives are implemented successfully. This role is an outstanding opportunity to gain experience with SPS Commerce’s diverse functional teams, products, and customers, propelling candidates to future success in their career at SPS Commerce.

As a Project Manager on the Marketing Communications team, you will create and manage project plans to ensure project objectives and goals are met, scheduling and leading cross-functional stakeholder and customer meetings, and driving continuous improvement. In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for these Marketing projects to our customers and internal teams.

Day-to-Day

  • Manage day-to-day project tasks to lead assigned groups of stakeholders through project stages up through completion
  • You will execute, schedule and facilitate weekly product launch meetings
  • You will be the primary point of contact coordinating with various cross-functional partners (Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success) to ensure all collateral is developed, iterated, and delivered on time to meet campaign deadlines. 
  • Create and maintain project work schedules, track project requirements and translate project requests into project deliverables
  • Demonstrate proficiency in service delivery while managing multiple projects
  • Act as information broker by directing communication to/from team
  • Prioritize needs and effectively manage project resources
  • Advocate for positive change and improvement within the organization by identifying and communicating the compelling needs for change/improvement

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of project management experience
  • Strong problem solving & analytic ability
  • Quality-focused; detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent organizational skills and written/oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision while taking initiative and setting priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment
