SPS Career Info is Hiring an Annual Giving Specialist Near Concord, NH

In collaboration with Alumni Giving and Relations Officers and Director of Parent Giving, manage annual fundraising efforts for alumni, parents and parents of alumni to The SPS Fund.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement agreed upon strategies targeted at acquisition, retention and reactivation of donors.
  • Provide assistance in the planning and implementation of fundraising initiatives, strategies and programs.
  • Serve as point person for GiveCampus campaigns, giving forms and volunteer management system.
  • Generate mailing and related data for both print and electronic solicitations using The Raiser’s Edge.
  • Coordinate mailing of in-house appeals, larger mail-house appeals and form specific mailings.
  • Track, analyze and evaluate effectiveness of mailings using The Raiser’s Edge.
  • Manage preparation and distribution of weekly acknowledgements, monthly leadership letters and stewardship of recurring and matching gift donors.
  • Prepare monthly reports and assist volunteers as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three to five years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Good oral and written communication skills; including thorough knowledge of business English, spelling and grammar.
  • Strong personal computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, experience with The Raiser’s Edge preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and our constituents (alumni and parents).
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries on multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Exemplary skills in prioritizing and organizing, ability to adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment with high expectations.
  • Attention to detail.

  • The Raiser’s Edge database experience preferred.

  • Proven organizational, follow-through, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills when working with colleagues and external constituents.
  • High level of proficiency with Excel and GiveCampus.
  • Utmost discretion with regard to donor personal information.
