Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient food service and customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables or customers in a timely manner. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and deliver them to the correct tables or customers
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders before delivery
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines
- Help with various tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, servers, and kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food or dishes as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
