As a Territory Sales Manager you will play a foundational part of the company’s success. You’ll be responsible for generating revenue by driving and managing profitable sales of our leading brands and Best Experience services. Your passion for sales will drive your success as a Territory Sales Manager with the SunSetter sales team. Your Best Career Experience Responsibilities  

SunSetter Products LP, is America’s largest manufacturer and marketer of retractable home awnings.

The SunSetter Territory Sales Manager is an exempt, field-based role responsible for actively partnering with and managing your Territory’s dealer network and sales team activity to meet and exceed annual objectives for retail growth, increasing market share and improving Dealer lead conversion. With a key focus on improving the performance of the existing SunSetter dealers, this role includes measuring dealer performance daily, identifying key needs and opportunities and driving performance through extensive phone calls, emails and monthly dealer visits. Additionally, it will be imperative to optimize the Region dealer network through new dealer adds, exits, and improving performance of under-performing dealers, evaluate the market opportunity of dealerships and identify best practices across the network. This role requires approximately 50% travel. Here’s a bit more about what you can expect your time to look like:

  • Creates and implements a data driven performance management process and actively measures and reports dealer performance against KPIs, a systematic reporting cadence and communication process across SunSetter and channel partners
  • Actively manage the dealer network and sales team activity to meet and exceed objectives for retail growth, increasing market share and improving lead conversion.
  • Drive dealer performance by improving performance of under-performing dealers, evaluating effectiveness of dealerships and identifying best practices across dealers through both data analysis and dealer visits
  • Optimize dealer network through new dealer adds and exits

  • Annual base salary ranging between $60,000-85,000, depending on qualifications and experience, plus a quarterly sales incentive plan

Requirements

What We’re Looking For 

  • A bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or related fields preferred
  • 2-3 years of dealer sales experience preferred
  • Outstanding organizational skills with ability to work on multiple tasks; set daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals
  • Results-oriented self-starter with track record of actively driving results
  • Strong analytical skills, proven ability to leverage data driven insight to drive strategy and plans
  • Must be able to travel 50%
  • Excellent planning and time management skills necessary to individually cover territory
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, competitive, and dynamic team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a strong ability to think proactively and creatively
  • Ability to travel extensively by car
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new software
  • Valid driver’s license
