Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinic Nurse

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinic team, providing high-quality healthcare services to patients in our outpatient clinic setting. As a Clinic Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care, promoting wellness, and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial patient assessments, including vital signs measurement, health history review, and medication reconciliation, to facilitate the development of individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to assist in patient examinations, procedures, and treatments within the clinic setting.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as prescribed by providers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to clinic protocols.

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Assist in the coordination of patient discharge planning
- Provide ostomy care and wound management as needed
- Conduct suture removals and dressing changes
- Utilize medical coding knowledge to accurately document patient information
- Manage acute pain through appropriate pain management techniques
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and documentation practices
- Provide behavioral health support to patients in need
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Support family planning initiatives as part of reproductive healthcare services

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Illinois
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent education/experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures, protocols, and guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
