Implements the strategic direction for and provides operational and clinical oversight to multiple patient care areas or patient populations within the perioperative suite. Leads, manages, and evaluates all aspects of patient care, staff/leadership resources, productivity, and interdisciplinary collaboration for multiple areas of responsibility. This position ensures patient care outcomes and quality improvement activities are coordinated within the care delivery framework. In addition, identifies areas and ensures that practice is consistent with internal and external policies, regulatory agencies, best practice quality standards and our client contracts.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Master’s Degree in Health Related Field preferred. If Master’s Degree not present upon hire: must be actively enrolled in a program with an anticipated graduation date. 3-4 years relevant clinical, management and/or progressive leadership experience, preferably in an acute care hospital setting. Advanced nursing administration certification preferred (NEA-BC).
