Spotlight Optometry is a new private practice optometry office located in Torrey Highlands / Rancho Penasquitos. We are looking for a friendly and energetic team member to join our new and growing office.

About the Optician / Frame Stylist Position

We are looking for a personable, friendly, and energetic person to join our team as an optician. You will need to be comfortable with sales ranging from $200-$2000. Our practice is team oriented and an excellent place to develop your career and professional skills.

We provide training for our Frame Stylists in optical sales and, more specifically, on the products that we carry to ensure that you can provide each patient with the perfect match.

About the Practice

You will be working with a fantastic team of optometrist and staff members. We treat patients ranging from pediatrics (little kiddies) to geriatrics (65 year olds) and everything in between.

We strive to provide the best eye care in the area, and we thrive off of the positive experience that each patient has: From the interaction at the front desk when they first walk in the door, to the time they spend in the exam chair, and then seeing you for all of their optical needs.

Optician / Frame Stylist Roles and Responsibilities

  • Optical Sales
  • Stocking and Inventory
  • Ordering and checking in from the lab
  • Troubleshooting
  • Assisting in Frame Selection
  • Adjustments on frames for customers
  • Customer education

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 38 per week
