We are a physician-owned medical practice currently looking for a Billing/Coding Directorto provide supervisory oversight of billing personnel, processes and procedures. This includes claims processing, revenue monitoring and quality improvement initiatives. This role will work cooperatively with the leadership team to ensure accurate and timely billing, reporting and patient account management and compliance.

What you’ll be doing

· Monitors A/R aging and payment reports monthly to identify trends and underpayments.

· Provides revenue cycle updates through the use of reporting, metrics and presentations.

· Works directly with the Controller to ensure revenue management including; satisfying timely filing requirements and maximizing billing revenue, collections and resolution of denied claims.

· Provides training as needed for on-site staff regarding billing best practices and to maintain compliance.
