The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the rendering of respiratory care and associated diagnostic services in a rehabilitation and healthcare setting. The therapists will participate in provision of respiratory care at many levels. Including but not limited to ventilator care management, resident patient observation, examination, education to residents and/or family, equipment preparation, and modification or termination of these services.
Essential Functions include:
Administers all Respiratory Care Services in accordance to appropriate policies, procedures and clinical guidelines.
Establishes and maintains patent airway in residents exhibiting respiratory difficulties.
Serves as a necessary part of the CPR response team.
Administers respiratory therapy medications as prescribed.
Per Diem positions available.
