Food and Beverage Manager

Overview: The Food and Beverage Manager at Splash RV Resort plays a pivotal role in overseeing the culinary and beverage operations of our vibrant resort. This dynamic position involves planning, coordinating, and executing food and beverage services to ensure an exceptional guest experience, adherence to budget, and compliance with food safety regulations. The manager will also be responsible for the innovative design of menus, strategic ordering of supplies, and effective management and training of food and beverage staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and other department heads to achieve the operational goals and objectives of the resort.
• Foster a consistent, high-quality guest experience focusing on satisfaction and engagement.
• Create weekly staff schedules for bar and food service teams to ensure optimal coverage based on resort needs.
• Conduct regular inventory assessments to maintain adequate stock levels and manage food costs within set standards to maximize profitability.
• Maintain positive guest relations; professionally handle and resolve any complaints or issues.
• Train, mentor, and coach food and beverage team members to excel in their roles.
• Ensure strict adherence to all company policies and operational procedures.
• Manage procurement and maintain detailed records of orders to avoid shortages of key supplies.
• Provide weekly financial reports detailing food costs, profit and loss, and inventory levels.
• Develop and implement strategies to adhere to the food and beverage budget, enhancing efficiency and reducing waste.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and handling regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Preferred 2 years of experience in hospitality management, with a strong focus on food and beverage services.
• Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or related field preferred.
• Profound knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including market trends and safety regulations.
• Expertise in using restaurant management software and related technology.
• Strong financial acumen with proven ability to manage budgets and financial goals.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of developing effective teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering superior customer service.
