The SAP BASIS administrator is responsible for installing, maintaining, monitoring and proactively improving SAP system stability. This individual will work closely with our data center support team on a daily basis during both normal business hours and off hours. The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the installation, technical administration, tuning, security operations and monitoring of the SAP ERP and related software and database.

The candidate needs to possess a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Have full knowledge of industry practices. This person will exert some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization and represent organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.

You will interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations and help develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.

Location: Wichita, KS

Key Accountabilities:

• Troubleshoot, research, and resolve SAP issues, including server, interface, and database issues.
• Administer and manage different SAP systems. Tune and setup monitoring SAP systems to meet SLAs.
• Resolve incidents affecting the operation/availability of production systems, through troubleshooting and implementing known fixes, including writing and follow up of SAP incidents.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure operations of these critical systems
• Work with internal users on SAP tickets in our Basis queue.
• Work with team to manage and monitor workload of the SAP landscape.
• Develop and maintain SAP application system documentation.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades.

Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
• US Citizenship is required
• Bachelor's degree with up to 0 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Obtain and maintain DOD 8570 Security certification

Preferred Qualifications :

• Knowledge of SAP BASIS administration on Netweaver systems
• Knowledge of SAP Security administration configuration and protocols
• Intermediate Linux and Oracle Database skills
• Overall understanding of technical architecture
• General understanding of the full spectrum of hardware and software Infrastructure; including the underlying dependencies and implications.
• Experienced in systems installations, enhancements, migrations and systems copies
• Troubleshooting and resolving performance issues
• Knowledge of XI/PI/P0 experience
• Knowledge of SUSE/Redhat Linux
• Knowledge of Oracle/HANA
• Knowledge of ABAP and JAVA systems.
• Knowledge of ERP Support Pack and Enhancement Pack Upgrades
• Excellent interpersonal, written and team collaboration skills
• Willingness to support mission critical systems
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Ability to recognize and resolve critical issues in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
