You will also collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis.
The data environment is undergoing some transformation efforts, including the implementation of Tableau and the formation and migration to a new Azure Data warehouse. The legacy environment is SQL Server 2016 (and they still need to get reports off that to the new DW). As the BI Manager, you will be initially focused on the tactical side of getting into Tableau and SQL and ensuring the backlog of reports is being addressed. You will also coordinate with the vendor doing the DW implementation to ensure the new environment is set up correctly and addresses the needs of the business.
