The Spine Team Texas Procedure Scheduler is responsible for scheduling all surgeries, injections and procedures for patients. Position must maintain active communication regarding patient status/progress with health team members, and health care providers. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Spine Team Texas. The Procedure Scheduler reports directly to the Clinical Director.

Job Responsibilities:
It is the responsibility of the Procedure Scheduler to schedule all surgeries and procedures performed by Spine Team Texas physicians. This position will also be responsible for scheduling post surgery appointments and follow-up appointments. This position will have close interaction with physicians and patients and must comply with all HIPAA regulations at all times. Procedure Scheduler’s may be required to participate in Spine Conference. Quality customer service, maintaining confidentiality, problem solving, and accuracy with work is imperative for this position. Other duties and responsibilities may be required by the Spine Team Texas Clinical Director.
Customer Service
All Spine Team Texas employees are required to maintain the highest level of customer service at all times. Employees must always speak in a kind, courteous and professional manner when dealing with a patient/customer or co-worker. Employees are required to fulfill the Spine Team Texas mission of “Offering an Unparalleled Patient Experience!” All employees must exhibit a spirit of cooperation and positive attitude. Professionalism is to be maintained at all times.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Must be able to sit for long periods of time and work in a well-lit, air conditioned office environment. Must have ability to lift a minimum of 5 pounds. Must be able to work under pressure. Tasks involve no exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.
