Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing administrative and clinical support to ensure the smooth operation of our chiropractic practice. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using medical scheduling software - Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations - Assist with patient intake, including obtaining medical history and updating patient records - Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization - Assist the chiropractor during examinations and treatments as needed - Provide education to patients on chiropractic procedures, exercises, and home care instructions - Process payments and handle billing inquiries in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed Experience: - Previous experience as a Chiropractic Assistant or in a similar role is preferred - Familiarity with phone systems and medical scheduling software is required - Knowledge of electronic health record systems such as Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, Epic, or similar platforms is a plus - Understanding of basic office procedures and administrative tasks in a healthcare setting - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
