To be responsible for all accounting and tax matters in their section of clients in a dedicated and professional manner. Our practice concentrates on business clients to provide monthly financial statements, consulting, tax planning and tax preparation for both the business and owners.

Responsibilities -

• Prepare income tax returns: 1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065, and others.
• Review financials prepared by bookkeeping staff for accuracy and tax planning.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and back work for new clients
• Consulting with small business clients regarding tax planning and tax strategies
• Extra hours are expected as needed for deadlines.
• Invoice clients for services and monitor repetitive fees per client agreements.

Requirements -

• EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA Required
• Must have minimum 3 years of experience with both corporate and personal tax prep
• Stability in work history
• Must have strong general ledger and financial statement skills
• Must be a self-starter and problem solver
• Be able to work independently and also a team player
• Preferred if familiar with the following software: Quickbooks (desktop and online), Thomson Reuters products, Microsoft Office products
