The Customer Shipping Coordinator will efficiently obtain information on inbound and outbound shipments in order to facilitate customer product flow and to ensure the accuracy of the receiving and shipping functions. Communicate with customers on inquiries as requested.

RESPONIBILITIES:

• Input customer directions for receipt of inbound product and outbound shipments to efficiently facilitate customer product flow.

Maintain hold and recall programs, corresponding with customers’ requests for product to be put on hold and/or recall.

• Maintain accuracy of product received against the receiving manifest,
• Promptly communicate and document any discrepancies received, with customers, checking that temperature readings of received products and trailer seals are confirmed and documented,
• Promptly notes any damage of customer product on BOL, and reports to the Plant Operations Manager and or Plant Supervisor to ensure proper disposition of customer product.
• File receiving documents in lot envelops and ensure that the information is entered into the computer system accurately.
• Process shipping documents ensuring that any special handling requests are understood by warehouse workers.
• Participate in cross training activities with other customer coordinator ensuring the highest levels of shipping and receiving duties.
• Notify management of any problems with procedures or equipment in order to maintain the highest degree of safety, inventory accuracy and productivity.
• Maintain a high awareness of personal safety at all times.
• Maintain a working area that is safe, neat, and in an orderly manner.
• Communicates well to create an effective working relationship with all employees and customers.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
• Ensure employees are working in compliance with the food safety trailer seal policy.
