As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. Your expertise in precision machinery, mechanical systems, and industrial processes will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations. The Millwrights day varies depending on the job, but it almost always involves some sort of machinery work. This position requires travel to their two main locations in Mankato and Fairmont, and periodically, this team travels to IA. Expenses reimbursed.

Responsibilities:
- Installation and Assembly: Assemble and install machinery and equipment based on blueprints, specifications, and manufacturer instructions. Align and calibrate machinery components to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problems. Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery malfunctions, and perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime. Replace faulty or worn-out parts and components to maintain equipment integrity.
- Precision Alignment: Utilize precision measuring instruments and tools to align and adjust machinery components accurately. Ensure proper tolerances and clearances are maintained to prevent premature wear and optimize performance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance, repairs, and installations. Identify and address potential safety hazards, and contribute to the development and improvement of safety procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and installations. Generate reports on equipment performance, issues, and resolutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and production teams to coordinate and execute maintenance plans. Provide technical expertise and support to colleagues as needed.
- Inspecting equipment and testing to see if it runs safely and correctly
- Fabricating brackets and mounts to hold equipment safely
- Using welding and other skills to create parts of machinery
- Installing electrical conduits or wiring to help machines run correctly
- Diagnosing potential problems with machines and repairing them
- Regularly changing drive chains, bearings, belts, and other parts of machinery
- Using forklifts or other heavy equipment to move machinery
- Calibrating and setting up new machinery for others to use
- Dismantling or discarding any outdated equipment
- Assisting with operating certain types of machinery
- Learning and following all OSHA guidelines and industry standards for machine safety
Must Have:
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using precision tools and instruments.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Familiar with safety protocols and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Relevant technical education or certification is a plus.
- Able to pass pre-employment Screening including Drug Screen and Background
- Able to travel
