The Entry level Window, Door & Gutter Installation Assistant belongs to a team. The Installer will assist the lead installer with basic install functions, retrieving tools, materials when needed, and keeping a clean and safe work environment. This position is responsible for loading install materials and assisting clean up at day end. The position supports an experienced installer and is an entry level position. Additionally, the Entry level Window, Door & Gutter Installation Assistant is intended to be a training program for potential growth and opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively prepares the job site for set up and tear down
• Demonstrates competency and confidence necessary to complete all installation duties
• Installation of products to manufacturer specs and building code requirements
• Collaborates with Lead Installer to provide Signature Service to all customers
• Takes part in and leads safety
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Complete installation, safety, and other required trainings
• Promotes a positive team environment
• Demonstrates self-leadership and personal accountability
• Builds and sustains a positive relationship with coworkers and customers
• Performs other duties as assigned

Must Haves:

• HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Able to pass prescreening including Drug Screen
• Valid Drivers License with good driving record
• Able to perform essential duties independently and satisfactorily.
• Able to communicate effectively both orally and written form and interface with all departments.
• Must maintain absolute confidentiality.
• Able to follow direction
• Able to multi-task, be accurate, have good organizational skills and handle high levels of stress.
• Able to work at heights on ladders, planks, roofs, etc.
• Must possess attention to detail
• Hold high standard of integrity
• Constantly positions self to remove/install products at various levels
• Ascend/Descend ladders or other various equipment to work at heights
• Able to lift equipment or products up to 75lbs
• Frequent work performed while standing
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel
• Experience with operating hand and power tools
• Exposure to elements outdoors
• Potential for animal exposure (cats/dogs/bees etc.)

Nice to have

• Trade school diploma/certification desired, but not required
• Two years general carpentry experience desired, but not required
