Maintenance Technicion

Production Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor position. The Technician has the primary responsibility to maintain the extrusion line and ancillary production equipment in good operation condition and good safety conditions.

Provide support in all activities related to Continue Improvement activities and support Plant maintenance activities as required.

Provide support in all activities related to Continue Improvement activities and support Plant maintenance activities as required.

Ensure equipment and work floor is clean, safe and well-maintenance.

Ensure production area is safe to work and productive.

Promote safe and healthy production environment and perform safe work practices always.

Maintain production machines and equipment.

Identify and perform debugging problems in processes, equipment and work for solution.

Resolve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete situation variables where limited standardization exists.

Perform equipment calibration as required.

Support continues improvement efforts providing input for new changes.

Support continues improvement implementing improvement and changes in extrusion lines.

Participate in daily production meetings to provide input and get information to improve extrusion lines efficiency.

Participate in Kaizen and Leon activities as needed.

Qualifications

Forklift operator, hand tools, electric equipment for inspection testing, and computer literate.

Ability to read, write, and speak English / Spanish
