Spectrum Comm Inc is Hiring a Site Manager Near Marine, NC

The Site Manager position provides overall DLA Warehouse Services operational leadership and management. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the coordinated and effective distribution and material management objectives within the framework of the distribution contract. The responsibilities encompass all aspects of the contract requirements, inclusive of safe and compliant daily operations as well as delivery of specific project initiatives. The Site Manager maintains formal and informal communications channels with customer and Warehouse staff to ensure compliance with program requirements and warehouse operations to include health, safety, security, quality assurance & personnel management.

  • Responsible for the timely completion and quality of work and services performed.
  • Provides supervision of personnel and day to day operations at multiple locations to include planning and managing the contract professionally, coaching and mentoring supervisors and leads by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the contractual effort.
  • Ensure work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources.
  • Provides accurate and timely reports IAW the SOW.
  • Provides effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in performance of the contract.
  • Maintains accountability of Government and Contractor owned property.
  • Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program issues.
  • Manages warehousing, shipping, receiving and procurement activities to ensure compliance and budget requirements are met and work is performed as scheduled at a fair and reasonable cost.
  • Identify, quantify and deliver Continuous Improvement Opportunities.
  • Engage Team in establishing a motivating and fulfilling work environment.
  • Ensures all required training is complete and work is conducted safely.
