Alternate Site Manager About the PositionThe Alternate Site Manager who shall have full authority to act for the Contractor/Company on all matters relating to Contract Performance in the absence of the Site Manager. Duties/Responsibilities:Provide supervision for the Contractor employees. Planning and managing the contract professionally.Coach and mentor Supervisors and Leads.Ensure that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources.Effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services ordered.Execute cost-saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled and at a fair and reasonable cost.Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:Demonstrated knowledge of field operations, company specific policies and procedures, federal and contract regulations. Demonstrated knowledge and experience using Microsoft products. Demonstrated knowledge and experience utilizing operations support systems. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills that result in clear, concise, and positive communications.Demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills.Demonstrated strong analysis and problem-solving skills.Understanding and working knowledge of company policies and procedures. At least 3 years of experience In Distribution Management or at least seven (7) years of management experience in distribution. 2 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years.
