Job Title: MP&P Technical Analyst 2
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Tukwila, WA
Shift timings: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Client is seeking a Mid-Level Composite Technician (Level 2) to join their team in Tukwila, Washington.
Position Responsibilities:
* Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability, and adherence to requirements and specifications.
* Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures.
* Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause, and documents results and recommendations.
* Proposes, develops, and validates revisions to procedures and specifications.
* Determines suitability of parts, materials, and processes.
* Determines suitability of parts, materials, and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers.
* Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating, and implementing new concepts and technology.
* Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* 2 years of experience as a mechanic or technician.
* Good work ethic, high mechanical aptatude and knowledge of composite materials.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Experience working in a laboratory environment.
* Hand layup experience.
* Composite and metal bonding experience.
* AFP equipment operation experience.
* NC programming experience.
* VCP programming experience.
* Robot, gantry, lathe, and mill operation experience.
* CAMS experience.
* Assembly experience.
* Structural test experience.
