Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Organized, self-sufficient, analytical, and detail oriented
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and Personal Injury Experience
- Knowledge of HIPPA, ICD-10 codes, and CPT codes is required
- Receives, investigates, and responds to inquiries from Law offices and supervisors
- Strong data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced organization skills
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Basic computer skills to scan, organize and access electronic health records
- Minimum 1 year of experience with medical billing or medical records
- Strong data entry skills
- Experience with orthopedics, pain management, or personal injury
