Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) - Permanent Role
Specialty Medical Staffing has an exciting new direct hire opportunity for a Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) in Tampa, FL! If you are a highly competent Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) looking for something more than what you have seen in the past, we would love to connect with you. We are currently interested in candidates for a permanent role.

Salary Range: $66,000 - $85,000
Hours: 5x8-hour shifts - 40 hours weekly - No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call
Physical Setting: Brand New State-of-the-art outpatient facility
EMR: Nextgen
Experience, Education, Certifications and Requirements:
1. High School Diploma (required)
2. Associate degree in science or successful completion of a formal educational program accepted by AART (required)
3. 1 year experience in general diagnostic, special procedures, or cardiac catheterization (required)
4. C-Arm experience (required)
5. Scrub experience a plus (preferred)
6. Vascular Access experience a plus (preferred)
7. Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
8. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
9. Basic computer skills (preferred)
10. ARRT (required)
11. State license and/or fluoroscopic permit to practice Radiologic technology if required by state law (required)
Job Overview:
1. Assist clinical team with patient and procedure room preparation and post-procedure clean-up, operating the C-Arm, scrub-in for procedures, clean and sterilize tools and equipment
2. Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies
3. Maintain radiology safety-monitoring procedures and may serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the center or Safety Officer
4. Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures and provide assistance in transporting patients within the center
5. Participate in community education activities regarding access center
