Specialty Medical Practice is Hiring a Medical Office Specialist Near Chattanooga, TN

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an Medical Office Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and ensure efficient operation in a medical office setting.

**Responsibilities**

- Assist with patient scheduling and registration using Athena

- Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns promptly

- Maintain medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and appointments

- Handle insurance verifications and billing tasks

- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence

**Requirements**

- Proven experience in medical office administration

- Proficiency in medical terminology and scheduling systems

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Knowledge of Athena or similar electronic health record systems is a plus

Must be a team player, fast learner, be flexible, and able to multitask. Strong computer skills a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
