About the Role
As a Therapy Manager for our behavioral health practice, you will be responsible for managing a team of therapists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of telehealth technologies and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of therapists, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to provide effective therapy services.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to therapists to support their professional growth and development.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect among staff members.

Clinical Oversight:

  • Monitor the delivery of therapy services to ensure adherence to best practices, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation to therapists on complex cases, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Stay informed about current trends, research, and advancements in the field of behavioral health therapy, and integrate evidence-based practices into service delivery.

Program Development:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement new therapy programs and initiatives that address the evolving needs of our clients and the community.
  • Evaluate existing therapy programs for effectiveness and efficiency, making recommendations for improvements or modifications as needed.
  • Coordinate with external partners, stakeholders, and referral sources to enhance collaboration and expand access to therapy services.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and maintain quality assurance mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness and outcomes of therapy services.
  • Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes, satisfaction, and clinical indicators to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Implement protocols and procedures to address any concerns related to patient safety, confidentiality, or ethical standards.

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage scheduling, billing, and administrative tasks related to therapy services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and client progress in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to address any operational challenges and optimize workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a behavioral health or therapy setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for various mental health conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members, foster collaboration, and resolve conflicts.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology platforms for documentation and data management.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Education/ Experience Required

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Current licensure or certification as a therapist (e.g., Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor).
