KEY FUNCTIONS
*Manage prescription flow, count/pour correct drug into appropriately sized container, label container and prepare it for pharmacist verification.
*Correct all label errors and calculations prior to delivery to pharmacist.
*Appropriately identify patients using two patient identifiers to assure correct medication is delivered to correct patient.
*Manage patient wait time in line by determining course of action in dealing with financial issues.
*Follow ACHC specialty standard and are part of current accreditation process.
*Other duties as assigned
