JOB DESCRIPTION
The Licensed Professional Counselor position provide professional counseling services in a program designed in assisting participants in behavior change to maintain a healthy lifestyle and quality of life through individual and group therapy.

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires valid Driver’s License, appropriate driving record and auto liability insurance that meets the minimum required by the State of Texas Statues.
- Master’s degree in counseling or a related field required
- Licensed Professional Counselor in good standing by the State of Texas
- Proven experience as an LPC/LCSW
- Clinical Experience
- Insurability for professional liability.
- Eligible for Medicaid and Medicare compensation.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and listening skills
- Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Good independent judgment skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to schedule work activities according to priority.
- Ability to complete documentation in legible and professional manner
- Needs to be familiar with community resources and be able to direct persons to the appropriate services.
- Ability to follow procedures while working in an independent environment.
- Ability to deliver treatment that is customized to meet the unique needs of every patient
- Ability to travel as needed
