SHRT provides comprehensive health care services to the most medically fragile in East Texas with clinics serving Longview, Tyler, Paris, Texarkana and the surrounding smaller communities. For over twenty years, SHRT has provided the communities of East Texas with access to quality health care. SHRT emerged from two programs joined in an effort to serve the rapidly growi...ng HIV population of East Texas in 1989. What began two decades ago as an effort to serve that emerging HIV population of East Texas, has now expanded into full service clinics catering to the most under-served in our communities. SHRT offers a wide variety of services to our patients with the goal of treating the whole patient and the whole family under one roof. In addition to our HIV Screening and Treatment Services, we also provide our patients with Adult and Pediatric Primary Care, OB/GYN and Maternity, Dental Care, Vaccination and Immunization, as well as treatment for Substance Abuse and Mental Health.
