SpecChem, LLC is Hiring a Purchasing Specialist Near Kansas, MO
- Work daily with the Purchasing Lead to communicate with the manufacturing facilities and vendors, cut purchase orders, schedule deliveries, track shipments, manage and update the receipt schedule, and monitor inventory.
- Work daily with the Operations Team, Operations Manager, and manufacturing facilities to capture, document, and react to production, manufacturing, logistics, inventory, and QC data
- Track and analyze data/inputs; build and review reports in order to identify areas of improvement in business procedures
- Work with team and manager to identify trends and variances in which positive changes can be made
- Help align and adjust processes to better serve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Occasionally serve as liaison between Operations and Customer Service, Sales, and/or Lab(s) to support desired result
- Other duties as dictated by business need
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or two years relevant experience within a manufacturing organization
- Quick learner able to work individually and within a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving ability and analysis at high skill level
- Superior decision-making ability
- Detail oriented and quality minded
- Able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
- Have a passion for excellence – do great work
- Prior industry experience is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Teams, SAP, and/or project management software is a plus
