Summary:

We are looking for experienced Software Engineers to join our small but growing team as we build internal software products that are core to Spearmint’s business strategy. You will work with other software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver high-impact greenfield products used for trading. This professional will be a member of the Research & Analytics team and report directly to the Head of Data Science.

Specific Duties:

• Design, build, and support software systems across our tech stack.
• Containerized web applications and services
• ML engineering
• Simulation systems
• Data platform
• Contribute to product development strategy and processes.
• Product architecture and design
• Sprint planning and roadmapping
• Documentation, code reviews, general software best practices

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must-Haves:

• BS degree in a technical field
• 8 years of relevant work experience
• Strong software development experience with Python and/or React
• Strong experience with AWS cloud technologies
• Strong experience with Docker
• Strong experience with common database technologies
• Passion for clean energy

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with ML systems
• Experience with trading systems
• Familiarity with energy storage and energy markets
