Assistant Studio Instructor

About This Position

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Studio Instructor to join our lively team. This exciting role involves leading guests through our captivating candle-making workshops that offer a top-notch aromatic experience (no previous candle-making skills necessary). The perfect candidate should have a flexible schedule (available for evenings and weekends) and be eager to evolve with our rapidly growing brand.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers step by step in crafting their own luxury home fragrance product (Rest assured, training will be provided)!
• Inform customers about our luxe fragrance blends, toxin-free ingredients, and recyclable materials.
• Keep track of workshop inventory levels and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Work with the team to prepare the studio to include cleaning and resetting each workstation.
• Foster a positive and relaxed workshop environment for guests to enjoy.
• Aid in processing point-of-sale transactions accurately.

Qualifications:

• Some higher education preferred
• 21 years of age or older (strongly preferred)
• Knack for public speaking and elevating the customer experience
• An interest in fragrance and home fragrance products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, creative, and self-motivated
• Eager to acquire new skills and add value to a developing brand
• Comfortable collaborating with a small team and willing to embrace new tasks as needed
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
