Job Summary:

To verify the adherence to project contract drawings and specifications, manufacturer installation guidelines and general craftsmanship. To ensure that all team members are accurately educated and trained on proper installation practices and documentation. To serve as the onsite visual weld inspector, when applicable.

• Two years of mechanical service, equipment start up, or commissioning experience
• Current driver’s license.
• Certified Weld Inspector Certification required.
• Piping and quality inspection
• Occasional travel as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Maintain a high level of understanding of total HVAC and Plumbing installation and operation, as well as some understanding of equipment capabilities.
• Have overall ability to accurately diagnose and report problem situations.
• Understand and stay current with industry trends and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Have the ability to understand multiple software platforms and update them appropriately.
• Communication with multiple teams and personalities.
• Ability to investigate piping, ductwork, or other HVAC/Pluming items for craftsmanship, adhereance to project drawings and specifications and manufacturer guidelines.

Experience

• 10 year(s): Mechanical/Plumbing installation, service or commissioning
• 5 year(s): QA/QC inspecting,
