• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of and experience in cleaning and sanitizing room.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push and pull. Prolonged periods of standing.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervises direct employees in the Fabrication Shop and purchasing and is responsible for evaluation of these individuals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; ensuring assigned training is completed. Ensuring and addressing the employees have what they need to do their job effectively and efficiently.
• Essential Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, or parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, or snow shovels, or spread snow-melting chemicals.
• Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours or checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Clean gym equipment, using solvents, brushes, rags, or power cleaning equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees. May require the use of ladder or stepstool.
• Notify manager concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings.
• Make adjustments or minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, or electrical systems.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or with hand trucks.
• Manage Storage Rooms for organization, scheduled shredding and moving of boxes.

Experience

• 2 year(s): Knowledge of and experience in cleaning and sanitizing rooms.
