SPARX Logistics USA is Hiring a Remote Cross Border Sales Manager - Chicago Region

As a Cross Border Sales Manager, you would play a crucial role in expanding our market reach and driving growth through effective sales strategies across borders, with an emphasis between Mexico and the US. Your responsibilities would include developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

JOB DUTIES:

· Manage a significant book of business within the United States. District Sales Managers to be assigned regions that may include Northeast, Southeast, Mid-West, Northwest, Southwest.

· Identify potential customers in need of ocean freight, air freight, customs brokerage, advanced cargo management, warehousing/distribution and other 3PL services.

· Make initial contact with prospects via phone, email, social media, etc. (i.e. cold call).

· Build and grow prospect relationships, including conducting meetings, presentations, quotations and rate/service negotiations.

· Close business opportunities in partnership with regional management.

· Maintain relations and develop new service opportunities with existing customers.

· Liaise with SPARX management, operations, customs brokerage, marketing and business development personnel in North America.

· Reporting requirements as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

· 7-10 years of freight forwarding experience (ocean, air, import and export).

· Detailed knowledge of the global logistics and transportation industry a must.

· Organized self-manager with ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

· Knowledge of CargoWise and advanced cargo management concepts a plus.

· Dependable transportation with freedom to travel internationally, if needed.

· Excellent written and verbal skills in English.

· Experience using MS Office applications and other shipping related software.

· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
